Valentines GlossyBox - January

I nearly floored my postie this morning when I saw the postvan pull up, yay it's GlossyBox time!

A special edition for valentines day in bright pink, sealed with a heart.

All in all I'm quite happy with the box, there is a couple of other bits I would of preferred over the Clarins products but that's the luck of the draw!

I'll test and review the products shortly.

Waiting for summer

In amidst of all things teething and grumpy babies, I found a moment to bring a little joy to my toe nails; rather quickly, excuse the rushed paint job!

Good news!

So we are moving! Ryan got offered both jobs but accepted a position at Southport.

We plan to find a house between there and the in-laws, however Ryan will be starting on 1st Feb and I'll be hanging around down south for a while, I'm a bit sad about this but needs must!

I will resume normal blogging tomorrow, now that my spending ban has been lifted!!

Half a pound of tuppenny rice; half a pound of treacle

Sorry I've been kind of quiet this week, next week will be much the same as Ryan has a second interview in Southport on Wednesday as we're going across/up with him tonight. I shall as always be taking lots of photos and I'll leave you with some photos of last week.

I've pretty much spent the week singing nursery rhymes for Finn as he loves it, current favourites a 'row row row your boat', 'the grand old duke of york', and er 'what shall we do with a drunken sailor' but that's not a nursery rhyme is it?

 Hopefully I'll be back on blogging form when I return!

Oh and I lost 3lbs this week! Very happy with that, been a bit rubbish since the weekend but back on it now!

Lets get skinny

12st 11lbs, ouch!

(I was going to convert this to metric as it looks better to me!)

My goal weight is 9st 7lbs.

I would like to reach this by 25th May.

This means roughly I have to lose 2.5lbs a week for 20 weeks.

May I add that I don't want to be *that* skinny, but I like the photo for motivation! 

I will take a photo each week and update on my weight loss.

If anyone is interested in doing Slimming World then I will post my weekly menu *here*

NOTD - Hologram Hexograms

Although I have a huge stash of nail polish I don't often wear it so I thought I would start a nails of the day every week to get myself wearning it!

Today's disco nails are Barry M Hologram Hexograms over plain black polish, I can't stop staring at them, soo pretty.

My main New Years resolution is to lose the rest of the baby weight plus an extra stone or two.

On Thursday I shall be trotting along to my local Slimming World club. Having tried many diets in the past few years, Atkins, Harcombe, Weight Watchers, Slim Fast, Cambridge Diet, I thought I would try something new. I also have a few friends which lost quite a bit this way.

Ideally I would like to lose 3 stone by 28th May, Finns 1st birthday.

On Friday morning I will post my measurements and current weight along with how much I have to lose and will update it each Friday morning after my weigh in.

If you too are starting a diet this year and need a diet buddy please leave me a comment, the more the merrier and I would always welcome the extra support!

Happy 2012

Hi beautifuls,

Hope you had a fantastic New Years Eve, I hope to god I won't spend another NYE the same! Finn had a horrible ear ache and was in so much pain, so we spent all evening trying to get his fever down, reduce his pain and to comfort him, he finally well asleep at 11.55pm, shattered isn't the word!

My new years resolutions are;

To lose the rest of my baby weight and an extra stone, I am going to start Slimming World on Thursday so I shall keep you updated on my progress

Secondly to use reusable nappies on Finn, we are testing them out today, he looks mightily cute if I do say so myself!
